<dc:title>Human Rights of Domestic Workers in India: A Socio legal Study with a Focus on Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh</dc:title>

<dc:creator>Author</dc:creator>

<dc:subject>Domestic Workers, Labour Rights, Social Protection, Unorganized Sector, Domestic Work Policy, Socio-Economic Conditions, Bareilly.</dc:subject>

<dc:description>Domestic work remains largely unrecognized as labour, with no full-fledged national
law to regulate it. The existing provisions of the unorganized sector inadequately cover
the physical, emotional, social, and economic circumstances faced by domestic workers.
They are excluded from basic entitlements since the draft e-Industrial Relations Code
still does not cover domestic work. Consequently, such workers remain unprotected,
irrespective of years of service or number of households engaged.</dc:description>
