What This Appeal Form Cannot Be Used For
This route protects fairness, not entitlement. It does not replace peer review, does not create a right to publication and does not permit authors to influence editorial independence.
Editorial independence statement
Payment status, APC waiver status, institutional position, personal relationship, nationality,
religion, political belief, gender, race or seniority must not influence appeal handling or editorial
decision-making. Decisions should remain based on scholarly merit, ethics, scope and publication standards.
