UnivColl Publications may collect disclosed publication-related fees for peer-reviewed journals, academic books, edited volumes, book chapters, conference proceedings and scholarly publication support services. These fees support the publishing workflow, production, metadata preparation, publication record maintenance and open access dissemination where applicable.

Publication fees are not a purchase of acceptance, indexing, citation impact, ranking, search engine placement or third-party database listing. Editorial decisions remain independent and are based on academic suitability, originality, ethical compliance, reviewer input where applicable and applicable journal or publisher policy.

Fees May Apply According to Publication Type and Service Scope

Different academic publishing programs require different levels of editorial administration, production, metadata, online display, DOI-ready support, print/eBook support and long-term record maintenance.

Journal Publishing

Journal Article APC

Where applicable, an Article Processing Charge may be requested for accepted journal articles to support editorial workflow administration, article production, open access web publication, metadata preparation, DOI-ready record support, publication page maintenance and long-term digital availability.

May include

Article web page, final publication support, basic metadata display, PDF/HTML presentation where applicable, author communication and post-publication record maintenance.

Does not include

Guaranteed acceptance, guaranteed citation, guaranteed indexing, promotional ranking, third-party database listing or automatic inclusion in Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar or any other external platform.

Book Chapter Publication Fee

A book chapter publication fee may apply for chapters included in edited volumes, thematic academic books or scholarly chapter collections after editorial review, plagiarism/originality checks and editor or publisher approval.

May include

Chapter formatting support, chapter listing, editor coordination, metadata preparation, chapter page support, e-book or digital display where applicable and certificate/record support where offered.

Does not include

Guaranteed acceptance in an edited volume, guaranteed ISBN/DOI unless specifically disclosed, automatic print copy, external indexing, author promotion or institutional ranking benefit.

Academic Book Publishing Fee

Academic book publishing charges may apply for scholarly books, textbooks, reference works, monographs or institutional publications depending on manuscript length, production requirements, metadata needs, ISBN arrangement, digital presentation and optional print/e-book services.

May include

Publisher review coordination, book page preparation, ISBN/metadata workflow where applicable, cover support, formatting coordination, digital publication support and publication record maintenance.

Does not include

Guaranteed sales, guaranteed library purchase, guaranteed academic ranking, unlimited print copies, book marketing campaigns, translation, indexing or legal clearance unless separately agreed in writing.

Edited Volume Publication Fee

Edited volume publication fees may be charged for multi-author academic volumes involving editor coordination, chapter compilation, production workflow, metadata preparation, cover/page design, digital display and publication record support.

May include

Volume page, editor listing, chapter arrangement support, production coordination, metadata preparation, basic digital publication support and publication communication.

Does not include

Acceptance of every submitted chapter, legal clearance of third-party content, guaranteed indexing, guaranteed book sales, print distribution or external database coverage.

Conference proceedings publication fees may apply to universities, colleges, associations or conference organizers seeking online proceedings publication, paper listing, metadata preparation, DOI-ready records where applicable and publication page setup.

Proceedings page, paper listing support, organizer coordination, publication structure, metadata assistance, DOI-ready support where applicable and public access presentation.

Does not include

Guarantee that all conference papers will be published without checks, responsibility for conference peer review, guaranteed indexing, conference certification promises or third-party evaluation outcomes.

Print, eBook, Metadata and DOI Support Charges

Additional support charges may apply where authors, editors or organizers request print copies, e-book preparation, special formatting, metadata correction, DOI record preparation, certificate verification, archive support or extended publication services.

May include

Specific technical or production support as disclosed before payment, subject to feasibility, publisher workflow and written communication.

Does not include

Any undisclosed service, hidden acceptance arrangement, guaranteed speed, guaranteed indexing, impact factor claim, citation promise or editorial influence.

  • Legal clearance for copyrighted material, third-party images, tables, figures, data, photographs, permissions or institutional approvals unless separately confirmed.
  • Unlimited revisions, unlimited reformatting, translation, print copies, postal charges, marketing campaigns, advertising or external distribution unless specifically disclosed.

Payment Does Not Replace Ethical and Legal Responsibility

Authors, editors, book editors and conference organizers remain responsible for accuracy, originality, ethical approval, permissions, authorship details, conflict disclosure and all information supplied for publication and payment records.

If any manuscript or publication material contains plagiarism, false information, authorship dispute, unauthorized third-party material, missing consent or ethical violation, the publisher may take action under the relevant policy even if payment has already been made.

  • Submit original work that is not plagiarized, fabricated, manipulated, unlawfully copied or under unethical duplicate submission.
  • Provide accurate author names, affiliations, email addresses, ORCID details, institutional information, funding statements and conflict-of-interest declarations.
  • Obtain permissions for third-party text, figures, tables, photographs, data, questionnaires, instruments or copyrighted content used in the manuscript.
  • Provide ethical approval, informed consent, participant privacy protection and clinical trial registration information where applicable.
